PLANNING A PREGNANCY
Timely initiated and efficiently conducted preparation for pregnancy
is the key to delivering a healthy baby
Why is it important to prepare for pregnancy?
The number of families who seek adequate preconception care is low even if they are planning to have a child. It mainly happens due to the lack of information on what has to be checked and planned, as well as financial difficulties.

Early recognition of certain illnesses and conditions can reduce prenatal risks, such as premature birth, death and severe complications for both mothers and children.

Ukrainians' lack of awareness about health problems they might have, including chronic diseases, may negatively impact the time it takes for women to conceive. It may also have a negative effect on the pregnancy itself.

Our task is to educate Ukrainian families on planning for a pregnancy and assist them in this process.
