Founder, director
Alesia has 17 years of experience in communications and public relations. She has managed PR departments in business entities, as well as governmental and non-governmental organisations. A Kyiv-Mohyla Academy graduate with an MA in Political Sciences, Alesia also studied Communications at Duke University, North Carolina.

It was her own experience of a difficult pregnancy and preterm labour at 29 weeks that have inspired Alesia to found the Charity Fund.

"When I was preparing for the pregnancy and the arrival of the baby, I couldn't have imagined that this period could become such a gruelling test for our family. After our son was born and successfully nursed, I started researching the causes of pregnancy complications, preterm birth and perinatal mortality. As a result I found out that many of these tragedies are preventable.

That is why I founded the Fund, whose mission was to address the prevention aspects: to prevent possible complications at the stage of pregnancy planning or decrease their number during pregnancy.

Together with the team we aspire to do everything possible so that every family in Ukraine can have the experience of expecting a baby truly the happiest time in their lives and so that babies can have the best possible start in life!"
